In today's unforgiving markets, your employee's skill set is key. This problem is particularly acute for businesses that work largely with independent contractors. While this business model can be highly effective, disbursed contractors present many challenges in terms of talent development, corporate training, and analytics.


Our insights into the needs and unique opportunities presented by these businesses are rooted in our history as a premium corporate training company. Since 2004, the people at Mycore have been involved in creating corporate training solutions for companies such as Exxon Mobile, BP, TimeWarner, and Bain and Company. While developing innovative training solutions for these companies with our professional media team, we began to identify a core problem in the current training status quo: after an initial training is given, little to nothing is done to follow up and reinforce the training that is given. This practice is in direct contradiction to the current best known practice of learning retention, which suggest that we should apply and reinforce material over time to see the greatest results.

In response to this issue, we have developed the Mycore software. After receiving initial corporate training, contractors subscribe to something we refer at as an "Expert Program." These programs then work through the Mycore app to drip reinforcing content and application tasks over time to your contractors. By reinforcing and applying the tasks over and over again, contractors gain and retain the skills that will quickly make them more effective at their jobs. In addition to this, parent corporations are able to monitor which contractors are completing their training through our analytics program, and are therefore easily able to mete out bonuses and incentives accordingly.
