Gary Foster, MD is a senior partner in a medical delivery company. He co-chaired the investment committee for Strathspey Crown Holdings from 2012-2016 and now serves on the Strathspey Crown I board, chairing their eye care committee. Gary co-chairs the advisory board for Aviana and is a consultant for Alcon Labs. He has a long history of teaching and leading value-based life change.
Mr. Edward Peterson is the president of Aviana. He served as a partner of Strathspey Crown, LLC and prior to that as the Chief Executive Officer and President of Acufocus, Inc for a decade. Mr. Peterson was instrumental in helping AcuFocus raise over $133 million and growing the company from a promising start-up to a global commercial enterprise. Mr. Peterson served as an Advisor of The Innovation Factory, LLC. He served as the President of Acufocus, Inc. He served as a Vice President of New Business Development, The Innovation Factory. He served as an Executive with Cooper Vision and Alcon Inc. Mr. Peterson was the Chairman of the Board of Directors for Visiometrics, as well as Chairman to Accelerated Vision Business Group. Mr. Peterson serves as the Chairman of Business Advisory Board and Director at Accelerated Vision Group LLC. He serves as a Director of Stroma Medical Corporation. He is also a Member of AAO Corporate Advisory Council. He is a Veteran, USMC. Mr. Peterson has successfully closed over 59 mergers and acquisitions over the past seven years. Mr. Peterson holds a B.A. in Marketing from the University of Iowa.
Prior to joining mycore, Corey served as a partner at The Ritchie Group. Before his time with the Ritchie Group, Corey was a Director with The Structure Group, an industry leader in consulting services and business solutions for energy market participants. In his 10+ years of energy industry experience, he focused on assisting market participants with preparing their people processes and systems for the major changes in the energy markets. His responsibilities included account management, sales, contracting, project management, system implementation, software design and consulting. In addition, Corey has managed the Timp Investment Fund for the last 7 years, a Fund that focuses on energy, real estate and software investments.
After graduating from Brigham Young University with a BS in Accounting, Corey worked for Andersen in their economic and financial consulting group in San Francisco where he worked on financial modeling and business valuation.
Mr. Jones comes to the table with a unique blend of skills and insights that have helped lay a strong foundation at mycore. Prior to his time at mycore, he launched a creative agency (M4) and training company (Framework Solutions) which are both currently being managed by his leadership teams at those respective businesses. Mr. Jones possesses strong technical and creative abilities without losing sight of the consumer’s needs.
Most recently Mr. Jones has turned the tragic death of his 10 year old son into a public forum & blog discussing the importance of living one’s values and being clear about what’s truly at our core. With over a quarter of a million followers and growing by the thousands weekly, this blog has captured the attention of business leaders, parents and people who each seek to live a better life and find meaningful balance.
In the mid-90’s, prior to his entrepreneurial career, Mr. Jones enjoyed a quick ascension to leadership at Allen Communication (a Times Mirror Company) and was responsible for several operational and market innovations.
Mr. Jones pursued a degree in English at the University of Utah.
